Agnes L. Hinton, 81, of Wooster, died Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Wooster Community Hospital.
Friends may call Monday from 2 to 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be Monday at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with Wilbur Hinton officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 5455 North High St., Columbus, Ohio 43214.
Agnes was born December 18, 1932 in Marietta, Ohio to Arthur and Doyle {Drake} Francis.
She graduated from Marietta High School in 1951.
She married Clyde Hinton on March 21, 1953.
She worked for Regal Ware and OARDC. She enjoyed gardening, reading, attending family gatherings, and her and Clyde's yorkies Ollie and Hunter.
Agnes will be deeply missed by her husband, Clyde, of 61 years; children Bev (Hap) Tompkins of Wooster, Carolyn (Jon) Black of Wooster, and Brenda Snyder of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandchildren Alison Keiner, Jason Hinton, Nicholas Snyder, Heather Black, and Jesse Hinton; great-grandchildren Tyler Hinton, Zachary Hinton, Kyle Hinton, Nathan Mckinney, and Dustin Mckinney; brother Donald Francis, and many nieces and nephews.
Agnes was preceded in death by her sister Thelma Longaberger.
The family would like to thank the ER department at Wooster Community Hospital for their care and compassion.
