Alfred "Al" Williams

Alfred  “Al” Williams, 98, of Wooster, died Friday, May 12, 2023 at LifeCare Hospice.

Al was born July 31, 1924 in Huntington, West Virginia,  to Henry Alfred and Hazel Mae {Connock} Williams.

He proudly served with the United States Army. 

He married Rose Ballinger on August 2, 1993. 

Al worked as a plumber for his own Business, Williams Plumbing, for 50 years before retiring in 1995.  Al attended West Hill Baptist Church in Wooster. Al liked wood Working, traveling, sitting on his porch that he built, and spending time with his dog Mitzi.

Al will be deeply missed by his wife; 4 children; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren ;  sister Marry Jo; cousin Norma Jean; and sister in law Darla. The family would like to thank Stan Jantes, Durbin Hartel, and Ruth Schrock for visiting and their phone calls.

Al was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Norma, infant son, brother John, brothers in law Joseph Potoczny, and Raymond Mercer.
