Alice Keen

Alice K. Keen, 92, of Wooster, died Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at Wooster Community Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Private services will be held at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Rev. Alice was born April 15, 1927 in Smithville to John Calvin and Katie Ann {Miller} Zook.

Alice graduated Smithville High School and married George C. Keen on February 12, 1956.  He passed away on April 12, 1998.

Alice worked for Dr. Eric Richman for many years.  She was a member of Trinity UCC where she worked in the Breakfast Program and volunteered for People to People. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, baking, and singing in the church choir.

Alice will be deeply missed by her children Cindy (David) Bricker of Shreve, Tom (Claudette) Keen, Gary (Diana) Keen all of Wooster; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister Bernice Sipe of Akien, SC.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband George, sister Mae Fletcher and several half siblings.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Willows at Smithville Western Care Center for their tender and loving care of Alice.
