Allen Troyer, Jr

Allen C. Troyer Jr., 83, of Wooster, died Monday, September 13, 2010 at West View Manor in Wooster.   Friends may call Thursday from 6:00pm   to 8:00pm at the Roberts Funeral Home – Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.   Services will be Friday at 11:00am at Grace Brethren Church in Wooster with Pastor George Johnson officiating.   Burial will be at the Wooster Cemetery where military rites will be held.   Online tributes may be made at  www.RobertsFuneralHome.com  .  
 
Allen was born October 20, 1926 in Wooster to Allen C. and Retta {Carmer}Troyer Sr.   He married Peggy Humbert in 1960, she survives.  
 
Allen served in the US Army during WWII and was self employed as a painter, retiring in 2001.   He was a member of the Grace Brethren Church and enjoyed gardening. 
 
Allen will be deeply missed by his wife Peggy, children Cynthia (Daniel) Hargrove of N. Lawrence, Andrew (Rebecca) Troyer of Delaware, Claudia (Armando) Pacheco of Wooster, and Jill (Samuel) Tabiendo of Wooster;   17 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchilden. 
 
A sister Mary Ann Martin died previously.
