Amy Lou Thompson, 81, of Orrville, died Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Shady Lawn Nursing Home, in Dalton.
Friends may call Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Graveside services will be held at a later date. Amy was born January 14, 1933 in Decatur, Indiana to Chester A. and Gladys {Cook} Reynolds.
She married Doug Thompson on May 25, 1956. They were married 57 years.
Amy was a cashier for Buehler's Milltown. She was an active member of AA for over 30 years. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
Amy will be deeply missed by her husband Doug; children Douglas (Diane) Thompson II of Medina, Susan (Henry) Bevins of Wooster, and James Thompson of West Virginia and a grandson David Thompson.
Amy was preceded in death by a brother Jack Reynolds.
