Anita " June "(Binegar) Wigal, 82, of Naples, FL, passed away in her home on September 11, 2014 from complications from pancreatic cancer.
June was born in Schley, Washington County, Ohio, on June 1, 1932, the daughter of the late Clarence and the late Carrie (Herlan) Binegar. She graduated from Newport High School, Newport, OH, Class of 1950. She was married to William "Carroll" Wigal on December 18, 1951. They were married for 56 years, until his death.
June worked as a Supervisory General Supply Specialist at the U. S. Naval Station Norfolk Service & Support in Norfolk, VA, where she retired from the Department of the Navy after 28 years of civilian service. After her retirement from the Department of the Navy, she was a real estate agent with McCarthy Real Estate in Marietta, OH.
June is survived by one sister, Phyllis Bowersock of New Matamoras, OH, 15 nieces and 16 nephews. She is preceded in death by five brothers: Kenneth Binegar, Furl Binegar, Merle Binegar, Orvil Binegar and Lyle Binegar and four sisters: Delorace Thomas, Elwanda Congleton, Monna Bond and Patricia Lamp.
June attended the First Baptist Church of Naples.
