Arlene Faye Wittekind

Arlene Wittekind, 91, of Marietta, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Harmar Place.

She was born August 15, 1932 to Clarence and Alta {Morrison} Kilzer.

She married Donald Wittekind on March 19, 1948.  

Arlene and Donald were members of the Veto Church of Christ.

Arlene will be deeply missed by her children Bruce (Patricia) Wittekind of Waterford, OH and Eraina Casto of Marietta, OH; grandchildren Myla (Doug) Thomas of Newport, Tim Wittekind of Waterford, Scott Casto of Waterford, Joey (Sheila) Casto of Belpre, Aaron Casto of Marietta; 10 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren with one on the way; sister-in-law Karen Strahler.

In addition to her parents, Arlene was preceded in death by her husband Donald Wittekind; her sister Vivian Zito; grandson Tony Wittekind.

Friends may call Saturday, March 2^nd from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-East Lawn Chapel, 27880 St. Rt. 7, Marietta.  Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with Dan Plum officiating.   Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Park. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
