Arthur Ray Wadsworth Jr., 79, of Wooster, died Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at LifeCare Hospice, in Wooster.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, where military rites will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Wayne Presbyterian Church at 7152 Burbank Rd. Wooster, OH 44691.
Arthur was born August 31, 1936 in Malvern, Ohio to Arthur Ray Sr. and Luella Louise {Werren} Wadsworth.
Arthur served in the United States Army in the Hq Hq Co, 9th Infantry for two years in Special Operations.
He married Joni Yoder on August 30, 1997.
Arthur was self-employed as a dairy farmer for over 30 years. He was a member of Wayne Presbyterian Church. In his spare time, Arthur loved to farm, garden, watch television, and spend time with family and friends.
Arthur will be deeply missed by his wife Joni of 18 years; children Tim (Lecia) Wadsworth of Tiffin, Craig (Joyce) Wadsworth of Malvern, Amy Wadsworth of Hanoverton; grandchildren Taryn (Max) Tomaszewski, Jenna (Andrew) Joseph, Austin Wadsworth, Justin Wadsworth; great-grandchildren Camden, Harlow, Owen; sister Jane Haun.
Arthur was preceded in death by his parents and siblings John, Esther, Archie.
