Audrey June Duff, 95, of Whipple, died Tuesday May 7, 2019 at her home in Whipple surrounded by her family.
Audrey was born June 16, 1923 in Newcomerstown, Ohio to Jerimiah and Mary {Gray} Eckelberry.
She worked for Vogue-Swift cleaners before retiring. Audrey was Methodist by faith. She was a member of the Whipple Good Neighbor Club and the Washington County Extension. Audrey was a 56 year resident of Whipple.
Audrey will be deeply missed by her children Carolyn Polk, Evelyn Davis, Diana (Lloyd) Booth; grandchildren Mark Polk, Lorrie Polk, Kari (Steve) Snyder, Michael Polk, Neil (Melissa) Polk, Deborah (Larry) Pettit, Angela (Scott) Kidder, John II (Karen) Davis, Jeffrey (Mary) Davis, Jerry (Jlea) Booth, James (Heather) Booth, Justin (Angie) Booth, Joshua (Lexie) Booth; 28 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, husband John F. Duff, sons-in-law Thomas Polk and John Davis, brothers Walter and Virgil Eckelberry and sister Bernice Catlett, grandson John Davis Jr.
The family would like to thank Amedisys and friends and family for their care and support.
Friends may call Friday, May 10 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-East Lawn Chapel, 27880 St. Rt. 7, Marietta. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 PM at the funeral home with John Wells officiating, with visiting hours from 12 until the time of the service. Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Park.
