Audrey Eileen Weideman passed peacefully from this world on November 28, 2017 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
She was born to William and Ellen Olson in Valley City, Ohio, in May of 1924. She and her husband, Bernard, moved their family from Ohio to Arizona in 1964. She lived in Phoenix, Tempe, Dewey, Flagstaff and Cottonwood, Arizona before moving to Scottsdale. While in Cottonwood, she was proud to serve as secretary of the Flywheelers Association. Audrey was known for her delicious desserts, especially pies. While in Scottsdale, she spent many days at the Senior Center, where she exercised, attended Bible study, and played cards.
Audrey was a very kind and caring person, always remembering special events, such as birthdays and anniversaries, of those she knew and loved. Little children and dogs brought her much joy. She loved Mexican food, margaritas, and hot dogs. Her favorite days were those spent with family, especially Thanksgiving, Cookie Day with her daughters, and Christmas.
She is survived by her son Edward (Marge) of Castle Rock, Colorado; her daughters Pat Boyle, Beth Widmer (Bob), Denise Hayden (Ron) all of Phoenix, and youngest daughter, Rhonda Dennis (J.R.) of Derby, Kansas; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Janice Barnes (Bill) of Springfield, Ohio; brother, William Olson (Alice) of Wooster, Ohio; and sister-in-law Edith White, of Wooster, Ohio.
Audrey is predeceased by her husband and daughter Dolores (Dottie) Lynch.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00am Friday, June 22, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Avenue, Wooster, with Rev. Stephen Moran officiating, with a luncheon to follow. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Humane Society or any animal rescue organization.
