Audrey Williams, 83, of Mansfield, died Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Mansfield Memorial Homes surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Layton Broome officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to National Parkinson's Foundation at 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.
Audrey was born April 24, 1931 in Olive Hill, KY to Goble and Maudie {Nolan} Hicks. Audrey came to Mansfield on her own as a young girl, and was always a very independent and hard working woman.
She married Forrest "Woodie" Williams on June 17, 1979.
Audrey was a member of Paradise Hill United Methodist Church. She and Woodie retired from their family owned business in 1986.
Audrey will be deeply missed by her husband, Woodie, of 35 years; children Sam (Sande) Garzaniti of Bellville, Mary (Mike) Luers of Lexington, Lea Ann (Robert) Curry of Sebring, FL, Don (Sandra) of CA, and Dale (Debra) Williams of Ashland; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; brother Roger (Rosalie) Hicks of Cincinnati; sisters Marge Keaton of Olive Hill, KY, Madgelene Stapleton of Mansfield, Darlene Thompson of Louisa, KY.
Audrey was preceded in death by her brothers Eshmell Hicks and Leo Hicks, and sister Avenell Holloway.
