B. Louise Farris, 96, went home to be with the Lord August 8, 2016. She was born May 11, 1920 in Norborne, MO, the eldest child of the late James Robert and Mary Ellen Harrington. She was a "home" maker and a member of the Deucher Baptist Church. Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Dwight "Pat" Farris, two sons-in-law Stanley Kimball and Francis Rea; three brothers Robert Harrington, Earl Harrington and Melvin Harrington; and one sister Lois Mays. Surviving are three sons and seven daughters: Mary Kimball of Williston, FL, Barbara Rea of Micanopy, FL, Phylis Brady of Tempe, AZ, David (Wanda) Farris of Marietta, OH, James (Brenda) Farris of St. Marys, WV, Beverley (Gary) Lewis of Sangor, TX, Juanita Farris of St. Marys, WV, Margaret (Jeff) Doan of Gainsville, FL, Anthony (Dayle Ann) Farris of St. Marys, WV and Michelle (Gary) Beans of Micanopy, FL. In addition to her children, she is survived by 18 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, two sisters Jean Tiffany of Stuart, TN and Wanda LaMay of Independence, MO and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be Friday, August 12 from 5 to 8 PM at Roberts Funeral Home – East Lawn Chapel, 27880 St. Rt. 7, Marietta 45750. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 13 at 11 AM at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 10 until the time of the service. Interment will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park.
