Barbara Alice {Hershey} Fenn, 87, of Ashland, died November 24, 2024 at Kingston of Ashland.
Barbara was born July 12, 1937 in Widowville, Ohio to Frank Hershey and Frances {Shambaugh} Hershey Conkey.
She married Howard Fenn on February 26, 1954, he passed in 2002.
Barbara worked as the head cashier at TJ Maxx in the West Park Shopping Center, she also worked at F & W Woolworth. She was a member of Faith Church. Barbara loved to crochet, knit, solve puzzles, and cooking. Barbara was a member of the Pavonia Garden Club and the Pavonia sunshine sisters, she also volunteered at Hospice of North Central Ohio.
Barbara will be deeply missed by her children James (Karen) Fenn and Cathy Hartsel; grandchildren Scott (Heather) Hartsel, Heather (Boyfriend David) Hartsel, Joshua (Fiancée Beth) Fenn, and Brock Fenn; great-grandchildren Paige Elizabeth Ogden, Alexander (Maranda) Hartsel, and Summer Kramer; great-great-grandson Knox James Hartsel; brother Melvin (Diana) Hershey; and sister Phyllis (Steve) Rhodes.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, son Ricky Fenn, and brother Raymond Hershey.
Friends may visit Tuesday November 26 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel. Funeral services will be Wednesday November 27 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/Barbara-Fenn) with Pastor Brian Amstutz officiating.
