Barbara Hobbs

Barbara Hobbs, 82, of Akron, died May 15, 2021 at her residence.

Barbara was born February 11, 1939 in New Haven, CT. to Judith Hughes.

She married James Walter Hobbs of Verdun, Canada. He passed away December 2, 2011.

Barbara was a licensed real estate agent and an accountant. She attended Our Lady of the Elms in Akron and spoke French. Barbara was a lover of all animals, especially horses. She supported and encouraged her family’s passion for horses throughout her life.

Barbara will be deeply missed by her daughter Lynne (Rudy Diaz) Hobbs Griffith of Orrville; grandchildren Carly Renee (Elisa) Tedona of Wooster, Cory James Dodrill of Delaware, OH, Kelly (Aaron) Larkin Griffith Saari of Anchorage, AK, Amy Miller Barkman, also known as Angel Amy, of New Jersey.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.
