Barbara Lewis

Barbara E. Lewis, 82, of Wadsworth, died Monday, August 27, 2018 at Wadsworth Rittman Hospital.

Barbara was born October 14, 1935 in West Virginia. Her parents were Robert and Marie {Lloyd} McCormick.

She graduated from Wallace High School.

She married Webster W. “Pete” Lewis on December 14, 1957.  They were married for 44 years until his passing in 2001.

She worked as a custodian for the Wadsworth School System. She always kept a clean home, and loved playing casinos all over the country. She also enjoyed reading and going on bus trips.

Barbara will be deeply missed by her children Brenda Lewis and Bonnie Lewis, both of Wadsworth, Judy Lewis of Barberton, Sandy (Brent) Swain of Orrville, and Gary Lewis of Pennsylvania; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and brother Robert (Frances) McCormick.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Friends may call Thursday from 5: 00 to 7:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville. Funeral services will be Friday at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
