Barbara Neville

Barbara M. Neville, 69, of Marietta, passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

Barbara was born January 10, 1948 in Marietta, Ohio to John and Ruth {McVey} Drake.

She was a 1966 graduate of Marietta High School.

She married Bobby D. Neville on June 15, 1968.

Barbara began her banking career in 1965 until she retired in 2014. She worked for multiple banks at the same location throughout her career. Barbara was a member of Tunnel United Methodist Church, where she and her husband were youth advisors and Sunday School teachers. She was also a 4-H Advisor for the Warren Wranglers 4-H Club and a member of the Scenic Hills Lions Club in Barlow, Ohio. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading, spending time outdoors and with the family.

Barbara will be deeply missed by her husband Bobby; son Brandon Neville (Lee Houser); sister Carol Dalrymple (Rick Felter); and multiple nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her son Brian (Michelle) Neville and grandchildren Kelli and Owen.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Mary Jane Neville; daughter-in-law Roxie Neville; sisters Helen Reynolds and Tara Drake; numerous aunts and uncles.

Friends may call Wednesday December 13th from 3 to 7 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-East Lawn Chapel, 27880 St. Rt. 7, Marietta.  Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Richard Thomas officiating.  Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may be made to Tunnel United Methodist Church or the Scenic Hills Lion’s Club.
