Bernard R. White, 88, of Wadsworth, died Monday, November 16, 2015 at Smithville Western Care Center.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville with Pastor Cindi Nigh officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Wooster Church of the Nazarene, 3100 Oak Hill Road Wooster, OH 44691.
Bernard was born March 18, 1927 in New Castle, Pennsylvania to William and Stella Marie {Teets} White.
He married Corine Plaster on January 28, 1949. She passed on September 24, 2012.
Bernard worked as a truck driver for most of his life. He loved to go boating, golfing, and play cards.
Bernard will be deeply missed by his children Dan (Jolene) White of Smithville, Bill (Jane) White of Houston, TX; grandchildren Andy Gish, Jeremy (Stephanie) White, Amanda (Elijah) Beery; great-grandchildren Trevor White, Isaiah Beery, Tyler White, Cohen Beery, Israel Beery and brother Robert L. White.
Bernard was preceded in death by his wife and brothers William and Wilbur White.
