Betty Ann Forrer, 88, of Wooster, died Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Danbury.
Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting the family. Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday at 2 pm at Northview Alliance Church with Pastor Ray Pfahler officiating. A private burial will be held at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Betty was born March 14, 1933 in Orrville, Ohio to Merle and Elizabeth {Muir} Hartzler.
She graduated from Orrville High School in 1951.
She married Russell Forrer on January 14, 1955.
Betty was a member of the Northview Alliance Church. She enjoyed quilting, embroidering, and baking. Betty spent most of her time with family and going to grandkids’ sporting events.
Betty will be deeply missed by her husband of 66 years; children Randy (Sharon) Forrer of Bluffton, Craig (Lorey) Forrer of Apple Creek, Sandy Forrer of Carrolton, Michelle (Roger) Myers of Cranberry Twp, PA, and Todd (Linda) Forrer of North Lawrence; grandchildren Randa, Lisa, Wayne, Beth, Stacy, Matthew, Spencer, Anthony, Amanda, Andrew, Audrey, Abram, and Annette; 22 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and best friend Pat Hartzler.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Marjorie Steiner and Jean Feltis.
