Betty L. Hamilton, 76, of Ashland, went home to be with Jesus May 6, 2015 at Grant Medical Center, in Columbus, OH.
Betty was born September 13, 1938 in Ashland, OH to Bliss and Pauline {Chamberlain} Shreffler, the middle of 11 children.
She married Richard Hamilton on November 24, 1955. Betty loved Jesus and talked to him all of the time. Most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her husband, children and grand-children.
Betty is survived by her loving and caring husband of 59 years Richard Hamilton; sons Rick (Cindy) Hamilton, David (Stephanie) Hamilton, Darren (Dee) Hamilton; daughter Dawn (Kevin) Krueger; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers David, Charles, and Danny Shreffler; sisters Vera Jane Martin, Pat Whitesel, Mary Whitesel, Judy Huntsman
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, brother Howard Shreffler and sisters Bonnie Williams and Kay Reynolds.
In honor of her wishes a private family services will be held. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park in the mausoleum. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes, 1335 Dublin Rd, Columbus, OH 43215.
