Betty Jones

Betty “Boop” Jones, 72, of Barberton, died Friday at The Avenue of Medina. Betty was born November 22, 1951, in Lodi to Charles Franklin and Orla Leona {Hill} Bise.

She married Bernard Jones. He died in 1977. She then met her lifelong partner Dale Volk. He died in 2016. Betty was an STNA at Alter Care in Wadsworth for almost 30 years. 

Betty will be deeply missed by her children Wayne Jones and Tina (Brian) Stansberry both of Barberton; grandchildren Brittany (Tristian Pavkov) Stansberry, Jasmine Stansberry; and a brother Roy Bise of Seville.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard, special friend Dale Volk and her sister Carol Gibson.

Services will be Tuesday, October 1 at 2pm at the Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, with Pastor Aaron Justin officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Seville. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
