Betty Walters

Betty Lou Walters, 82, of Wooster, died Friday, September 27, 2019 at Danbury Woods.

Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.  Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Betty was born January 19, 1937 in Indiana, PA to Bernice Uncapher.

She married the love of her life Homer J. Walters on September 27, 1956.  He died March 9, 2017.

Betty worked at Sears for many years and was involved in the Red Hat Society making many friends along the way. Betty enjoyed traveling, beach trips, her beloved dogs, gardening, bird watching, nature, and the Wayne County Fair.  She was also an avid baseball fan and attended many Indians games.

Betty will be deeply missed by her children Beth (Ralph) Nolletti of Hughesville, MD and Jim (Jess) Walters of Wooster; brother Michael (Beverly) Jewart; sister Vicky (Jeff) Longwill; and her beloved companion Frost.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, sister Kennetta, fur-babies, and grand-fur-babies.
