Beverly Kay Yacapraro

Beverly Yacapraro, 75, native of Creston Ohio, died April 5, 2024 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, in Columbus, Ohio.

Beverly was born March 6, 1949 in Wooster, Ohio to Jesse and Ethel {Pool} Bachman.

She was a 1967 graduate of Norwayne High School.

Beverly was involved with labor organizations for many years, notably United Rubber and United Steel workers. She worked for Rubbermaid Inc for 25 years, then the steel workers headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA for ten years.

Beverly had a very eclectic taste in music. She loved attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and was a very big fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns.

Beverly will be deeply missed by her children Mitzi (Stephen) LaPaugh and Bob (Jessica) Vicars; grandchildren Carter and Jaxson Stried, Nick and Leah Vicars and her sister Shirley Morrison.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Ethel Bachman and her brother-in-law Paul Morrison.

Friends may call Wednesday, May 1, 2024 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Memorial services will follow at the funeral home and will be livestreamed below. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
