Billy J Long

Billy L. Long Jr., 67, of Wooster, passed away January 2, 2025 at the Wooster Community Hospital.

Billy was born October 20, 1957 in Middletown, OH to Billy Sr. and Delma {Hampton} Long.

He served in the US Military and was a member of the Church of Christ on Burbank Rd. in Wooster.

Billy worked for several local companies, including driving for Laidlaw and laying pipe for an oil company. He enjoyed woodworking, listening to music, fishing,  and driving in the country. 

Billy will be deeply missed by his nieces and nephews Edward Peterson, Jennifer Peterson, ; great nieces and nephews Bryson Blackburn, Peyton Kelley, ; son Jay Long, and his long-time companion Sondra Adams.

Billy was preceded in death by parents and sister Kimberly Vaness.
