Blair D. Miller, 71, of West Salem, died Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Sycamore Run Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Millersburg.
Friends may call Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Barry Synder officiating. Blair was born June 15, 1944 in Cambridge, Ohio to Ford and Lucille {Blair} Miller.
Blair proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for 6 years during the Vietnam War as Sergeant, where he earned 3 Purple Heart Medals and a Bronze Star.
He married Linda Hewison on June 12, 1971. She passed away in 2008.
Blair retired from Crown North America. He was a member of the American Legion Post #68 of Wooster and the VFW in Orrville. Blair enjoyed woodworking, playing bingo, and collecting coins.
Blair will be deeply missed by his children Tamra (Tim) Cox of West Salem, Rick Miller and Ada (Alan Sands) Franks both of Wooster; grandchildren Brandi (Brandon) Keith, Ashley Crum, Rickey Miller, Rachel Miller, and Zackery Miller; 4 great-grandchildren Caden, Zane, Kaleb and Kameron; Goddaughter Shejuana Harrington, brothers Wiley (Beulah) Miller of Sterling, Alan (Theresa) Miller of Coshocton and Terry (Lorraine) Miller of N. Canton.
In addition to his parents, Blair was preceded in death by his loving wife and son-in-law Stacy Franks.
