Blake Sheneman

Blake W. Sheneman, 81, of Orrville, died Monday, May 7, 2018 at his residence.

Friends may call Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Orrville Baptist Church, 204 Bell Avenue, Orrville, Ohio 44667. A Celebration of Life services will be Friday at 11:00 at the church with Pastor Bradley Dews officiating. Burial will be prior at 9:30 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, where military rites will be held. Blake was born May 21, 1936 in Charm, Ohio to Russell and Ollie {Oswald} Sheneman.

Blake served in the United States Army for six years.

He married Charlotte Sigler on January 19, 1963.

Blake worked for 36 years for International Paper.  He was a member of Orrville Baptist church, and loved to read and spend time with his friends.

Blake will be deeply missed by his wife Charlotte; daughter Dawn (Gene) McLaughlin of Missouri; granddaughter Amanda (Frank) Cotton of Kentucky;  great-granddaughter Naomi Charlotte Rose Cotton;  brothers Robert Sheneman, Russell Sheneman, Clyde Sheneman, and Gary Sheneman;  sister Maxine Wright; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Blake was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Albert, Logan, and  Delmas; sisters Violet and Leona
