Bob Wepler, 87, of Wooster, died Sunday, November 11, 2012 at West View Manor, in Wooster.
Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor James Watt officiating. Bob was born September 26, 1925 in Wooster, OH to Charles A. and Marian {MacMillen} Wepler.
He served in U.S. Navy during World War II on the USS Arlington.
Bob married Irene (Beieler) on August 21, 1948.
He worked for C.C. Gault realty and Arlo Swinehart real estate. Bob also worked as an independent building contractor. He had been a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Wooster for 64 years. He was a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland sports teams.
Bob will be deeply missed by his wife Irene, son Bill (Diane) Wepler of Wooster, grandchildren Ryan (Vicki) Wepler of New Haven, CT and Ben Wepler of Sterling, OH
Bob was preceded in death by his parents.
