Bonna Dyke

Bonna Jean Dyke, 86, of Wooster, died unexpectedly Wednesday, October 07, 2015 at West View Healthy Living.
Friends may call Monday from 2 to 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Services will be Monday at 3pm at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Fetterhoff officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Bonna was born August 24, 1929 in Columbus. She married Richard Dyke on November 2, 1947. He passed on July 9, 1982.
Bonna retired from Rubbermaid after 20 years. She was a member of Grace Church in Wooster. After retirement, Bonna volunteered for Wayne Twp. Housekeepers, Wayne Co. Care Center Auxiliary and LifeCare Hospice. Bonna was an encourager, visiting shut-ins and the sick. She was a prayer warrior, reading the Bible, and Bible study.
Bonna will be deeply missed by children Nancy Kay (Ben) Barton and William David (Debra) Dyke all of Wooster; three grandsons Ben, Ryan, and Andy; two step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother Lionel (Cora Beth) Eubank; sisters Mary Ann (Rodger) Simon, Carol Gilbert, Wanda (John) DeVilbiss and Marilyn Ward.
Bonna was preceded in death by her parents Pearl and Rhea {Sorrell} Whitlatch, biological mother Mildred Eubanks, husband Richard, and a great-grandson Angelo William Dyke.
The family would like to thank all those that visited Bonna during her time at West View as well as the staff for their loving care.
