Boyd Shore

Boyd Eugene Shore, 88, of Medina, died Friday, August 17, 2018 at Autumnwood Nursing & Rehabilitation, in Rittman.

Boyd was born July 9, 1930 in Whitten, Iowa to William Marion and Ida Lura {Vestal} Shore.

After graduating high school in Iowa, he joined the United States Marine Corps in 1947.

Boyd married Vivian Barlow on July 16, 1984.

He loved to grow vegetables, watch politics on television, and was a Cleveland sports fan.

Boyd will be deeply missed by his wife of 34 years; eight step children; 31 step grandchildren;  16 step great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Boyd was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Charles Shore; and his sisters Ruth moon, and Helen Williams.

Graveside Services will be Tuesday, August 28, at 1:00 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Peggy Tampson officiating. Burial will follow and military rites will be held.
