Brenda Metz

Brenda G. Metz, 66, of Wooster, died Friday, June 1, 2018 at Akron General Hospital, in Akron, after a lengthy battle with sepsis.

Friends may call Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Ron Williams officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Brenda was born November 18, 1951 in Hamlin, West Virginia to William and Barbara {Dingess} Saul.

She went to Orrville High School.

She married Scott E. Metz on March 17, 1984, and was later divorced.

Brenda had a smile that could light up a room, a contagious laugh, and the most loving personality anyone could have. She loved listening to gospel music, attending worship services, but most importantly spending time with her grandchildren.

Brenda will be deeply missed by her daughter Barbara Renee Metz and her son Christopher Michael Jackson; grandchildren Madison, McKenzie, and Zoe;  sisters Linda (Charlie) Heath and Sheila (Lonnie) Kiser; many close cousins and friends.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother James E. Saul.
