Brent Wallraven Morgan, 87, of Marshallville, died Thursday, September 6, 2018 at LifeCare Hospice.
Memorial services will be Saturday, September 15th at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 3233 Akron Road, Wooster. Direct burial has taken place at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
Brent was born October 22, 1930 in Fairmont, West Virginia to Brent and MayLulla {Cottrill} Morgan.
He served as a Cpl. in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He married Laura Isabelle Windon on January 31, 1949. She passed away on March 14, 1996.
Brent retired from PPG Industries after 40 years. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses where he and Laura were immersed together on November 16, 1963. Brent was an avid artist and shared many of his paintings with friends and family.
Brent will be deeply missed by his children Laura C. (David) Sailor of Rittman, Brent W. (Wanda) Morgan Jr. of Fairmont, WV, Ruth A. (James) Russell of Kitts Hill, Diana L. (Milton) Salisbury of Whitestone, NY, Patricia A. (Gary) Garnes of Wooster, Susan (David) Morgan-Blair of Marshallville, John O. (Connie) Morgan of Sterling, Micah S. (Michelle) Morgan of Akron, Katie J. Kiba of Fairport Harbor, Kevin M. Morgan and Matthew M. Blair both of Marshallville; 23 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren and one soon to arrive; sister Lorna Conley of Fairmont, WV.
Brent was preceded in death by his wife Isabelle of 47 years and cousin Todd Hemingway.
The family would like to thank the Congregation’s of Jehovah’s Witnesses, LifeCare Hospice, and honorary daughter Donna Rice-Wassell for all of their loving support and care.
