Brittany Lynn Sundol

Brittany Lynn Sundol, daughter of Pamela R. Sundol, was born on March 9, 1987 at Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk, NY. She passed away at Riverside Methodist Hospital on February 10, 2025. 

Brittany spent her first yrs in Mesa, AZ then spent most of her upbringing in Titusville, PA. She graduated from Titusville Senior HS in 2005. She worked in a variety of industries throughout her life since then while living in Lemoine, Hershey, Pittsburgh and Erie, PA, until moving to Mesa, AZ in 2017, including concessions at Hershey Arena and housekeeping at Hershey Lodge; she last worked at The Plastek Group in Erie, PA before working in various warehouse and manufacturing jobs in Phoenix Metro, AZ; in 2019, she and Erik ventured to Colorado where she found a position with Pacific Events Production and house keeping manager at Hometown Studio Suites in Colorado Springs; operator at Deny Designs and sorted packages at Amazon in Denver CO. After relocating to Ohio in 2023, Brittany worked at the Town Center Shell Gas Station until May 2024 when she started her last position with the Burroughs Novalex warehouse in Mount Vernon, OH as an operator.

Throughout her life, those who knew her would say, she’s a talker, and funny. She enjoyed arguing about things, challenging viewpoints. She was always “real” and spoke her mind often, though had a kind soul. People always knew she was there for them, always there when people needed to vent. She helped those in need, even when putting herself in harms way; She fed others and clothed them all while struggling herself—she had an eternal giving nature. She enjoyed listening to music, coin collecting, playing cards and board games, attending concerts and parties, grandma’s roast beef dinners and Pepsi. She loved VC Andrews books and occasionally wrote journals and poetry, also enjoying arts and crafts, coloring and internet gambling games.

Brittany is survived by her life partner of 11yrs, Erik Miller of Howard, OH; and his sister, Lexi Miller; her two dogs, Diamond and Sonny; two daughters, Kelsey and Kayleigh Sundol of Mission Viejo, CA, “Pop Pop”, Shawn Compton of Mission Viejo, CA; brother, Thayer Sundol and sister in law Marion (Caillard) of Caen, Normandy, France; her sister, Brittnie Turner and neice, Lamiyah Kirk of Tempe, AZ; brothers Bradley Turner of Florence, AZ and Brett Turner of Mesa, AZ; Grandmother, Carol (Adamowicz) Dowling of Titusville, PA; Uncle Chad Sundol and Aunt Jackie (Balcewicz) Sundol of Howard, OH; as well as a number of friends and extended family throughout the country.

Brittany is preceded in death by her mother, Pamela R. Sundol; cat, Oz; mother, Mernice “Cookie” Miller; birth father, John Turner; Grandfather, Max M. Sundol; and Step Grandfather, Daniel Dowling.
