Brooke Tyler Higgins, 40, of Cincinnati, went to live in her final home with Jesus on February 17, 2017, at Shady Lawn in Dalton, after fighting a brave battle against cancer.

Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Memorial contributions may be made to West Hill Baptist Church, 2241 Mechanicsburg Rd., Wooster, Ohio 44691.
Brooke was born October 3, 1976 to Dennis E. and Barbara K. {Mowery} Higgins and lived in Carrollton, Ohio, until the family moved to Wooster in 1979.
She graduated as Valedictorian from Triway High School in 1994; received a bachelor's degree in Education in 1998 from Cedarville College; and earned her MBA in 2013 from St. Thomas More College in KY. After teaching for 4 years, she worked for the Girl Scouts for several years and in various other jobs, including 6 years at LNS America in Batavia, Ohio, and the last 2 years at Veritiv in Cincinnati.
Brooke was blessed with a delightful sense of humor, which entertained her family and friends, co-workers, and those who cared for her during her past months. She loved to hand knit items for family and friends and, during the last few years of her life, designed and created unique quilts as gifts for others. She taught and amazed many with whom she joined at the Cincinnati Modern Quilt Guild.
Brooke will be deeply missed by her mother; her brother Sean (Morgan) Higgins of Marysville, WA; nieces and nephew Maggie, Calvin, Hallie and Keelah; Aunt Karyl Lynn McMurrain; and many other family, friends and co-workers whom she blessed and encouraged merely by her presence.
Brooke was preceded in death by her father, Dennis.
