Calvin Emmett Alexander III, 61, of Akron, died Friday, June 16, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Calvin was born February 16, 1956 in Charleston, West Virginia to Calvin Jr. and Jean {Dempsey} Alexander.
He married Melissa Farber on February 2, 2017. She survives.
Calvin worked at BNC Research. He was a member of The Sanctuary in Cuyahoga Falls. Calvin enjoyed to gambling, playing cards and pool.
Calvin will be deeply missed by his wife Melissa; children Calvin (Mindy) Alexander IV and Crystal Alexander both of Barberton; step-children Justin, Jeremy and Jordan; grandchildren Jordan, Calvin, Donovan, John, Hailiegh, James and Makenzie; brothers Rick (Onita) Alexander, Ron (Mary), Timmy and Dan Carpenter; sisters Catherine (Doug) Marshall and Bonnie.
Calvin was preceded in death by his brothers Jimmy and Mike, and a sister Rosalie.
Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville. Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Dockery officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
