Carl Edward Byler, 93, of Wooster, died Wednesday October 15, 2014 at his residence.
Friends may call Sunday, October 19, 2014 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, 7067 Cleveland Road, Wooster. Carl was born August 8, 1921 in Wayne County to Raymond Earl and Ruth Elizabeth {McFadden} Byler.
He married Betty L. Byler, who died July 16, 2005.
Carl retired from Regal Ware in 1983 after 37 years. He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ. Carl enjoyed football, baseball, fishing, golf and playing cribbage. He was a member of the Eagles and Elks clubs.
Carl will be deeply missed by; children Rodney (Anita) Byler of Beavercreek, Hal (Pam) Byler of Port Washington, WI, and Patricia Byler of St. Petersburg, Fl; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sisters Betty (Don) Moomaw, Janet Jamison.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, wife Betty, brothers Robert and Glenn Byler; sisters Isabel Marble and Martha Lytle.
