Carl N. Carnes, 79, of Orrville, died Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Shippenville Health, in Shippenville, Pennsylvania.
Friends may call Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Carl was born February 24, 1938 in East Liverpool, Ohio to Charles Wesley and Arizona Rose {Virden} Carnes.
He married Hila Jean Rowley on August 28, 1958. She passed away August 6, 2007.
Carl retired from General Motors after 35 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and all outdoor activities.
Carl will be deeply missed by his children Kevin (Belinda) Carnes of Clarington, PA, Victoria (Antonio) D'Intino of Wooster, Carla (Dave) Davis of Doylestown and Hila (Mike) Hendrix of Carolton, OH; grandchildren Miranda Pauken, Andrea Snyder, Allison McCandless, Jonathan Sobczak, Nicole (Andy) Mendenhall, Eva and A.J. D'Intino, Jackie (Chris) Read, Bob and Katie Davis; great-grandchildren Jaden Windsor, Makayla Read, Aiden Davis, Raylee Briggs, Skylar McCandless, Odella Snyder; brother Ferrrell Ray.
Carl was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, son Kerry Carnes, brothers Sherlin, Lawrence, Russell, George and David, and sisters Virginia and Betty.
