Carl Amos Mark

Carl Amos Mark, 78, of Wooster, died February 26, 2025 at his residence.

Carl was born December 8, 1946 in Wooster, Ohio to Miles and Helen {Sampsel} Mark.

Carl graduated from Northwestern High School, He the proudly served in the U.S. Army

He married Nancy Fyffe on October 25, 1966. 

Carl retired from Akron Brass after 55 years. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Eagles, VFW and he enjoyed bowling, fishing, golf and softball. Carl loved spending time with his family, mushroom hunting and gambling at the casino.

Carl will be deeply missed by his wife; children Lisa Minter, Carla (Dave) Mark, Amy (Monte) Garberich, Chris (Heather) Mark; grandchildren Skylar, Mason, Dayton, A.J., Devonta, Spencer, Courtney, Austin, Chase, Zach, McKenzie, Lacey, Colton ; great-grandchildren Eric, Dreka, Harlow, Angelo; sisters Marita (Greg) Buchanan and Naomi Evans.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents; brother Melvin and his granddaughter Logan.

Friends may call Wednesday March 5, 2025 from 10 to 12 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home with Chaplain Daron Butler officiating.
