Carl Walter II

Carl Joseph Walter II, 60, of Ashland, died Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Ohio Health Mansfield.

Carl was born February 24, 1962, in Oberlin, Ohio to Carl and Shirley {Miller} Walter.

As a young man, Carl joined the United States Army.  He served eight years, mostly in Germany.

After serving, Carl worked in many different industries, including McClure Oil in Indiana. Carl loved being out west and spent many years in Arizona and California. He preferred to be outdoors and spent most of his time camping, hiking, and watching nature.

Carl will be deeply missed by his daughter Lisa (Brian) Lash; grandchildren Emerson, Atticus, and Benaiah; and mother Shirley.

Carl was preceded in death by his father.

Entombment will be Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the mausoleum chapel at Ashland County Memorial Park, where military rites will be held.   Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
