Carol Dillon

May 13, 1942 — September 9, 2017

Carol L. Dillon, 75, of Rittman, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Hospice of Medina County surrounded by her loved ones, after a three month battle with cancer.

Friends may call Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.  Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. with Rev. John Castle officiating.  Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 761, Wooster to assist with funeral expenses.

Carol was born May 13, 1942 in Wadsworth to Brownie and Irene {Armstrong} Mitchell.

She married the love of her life Danny Dillon.  He survives.

Carol was a member of the Rittman Community Free Will Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and her cat, Kindle.  She also enjoyed word search puzzles, reading Amish books and collecting frogs, apples and angels.

Carol will be deeply missed by her husband, Danny; son Michael Dillon and two daughters Cathy (Marlin) Griffith and Vicki Heilman; grandchildren April (Chris) Nichols, Britteny Griffith, Daniel Griffith, Dillon Griffith, Amber Mote and Cheyenne (Mike) Soeder; great-granddaughters Brianna Nichols, Dani Nichols and Brooklyn Soeder; sisters Theresa (Alan) Miller, Beulah (Wiley) Miller, Anne Stout and Helen (Ted) McVay; several nieces and nephews.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Heather Heilman, sister Carol Lee Bateman, two brothers Robert Mitchell and Jim Mitchell, and special mother-in-law Pearl Wohlford.
