Carole Ann Holdren, 79, of Apple Creek, passed away at her home with her loved ones on Tuesday, January 13, 2015, following a period of declining health.
She was born July 8, 1935 in St. Paul, MN, to the late Alexander and Vitaline "Bea" (Fairbanks) Lonier and was united in marriage to David W. Holdren on May 25, 1979. He survives.
She was a Smithville High School graduate, member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Wooster and worked over 30 years at Family Practice Center.
She will be deeply missed by her husband; children Sue (Arnold) Stuckey-Neal of Greensboro, NC, Dick (JoAnn) Stuckey of Thomasville, NC, Terri (David) Zook of Lexington, NC, Lori (Jeff Yungen) Marthey of Orrville, Chris Stuckey of Wooster, Barb (Mark) Gryniewski of Orrville, John Stuckey of Barberton, Mary (Rich Zimmerly) Olp of Orrville, and Kathy (John) Barnes of Orrville; step-children Debbie Blosser, Sandy Tolliver and David Holdren, Jr.; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother Don (Carol) Lonier of Wooster; sister Leah (Robert) Wallace-Miller of Niagara on the Lake, Ontario, Canada; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by infant son Gene Ronald Stuckey, III; and brothers, James Lonier and Robert Lonier.
In accordance with her wishes, a private family graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 17th. The family will receive friends during her Celebration of Life at St. Agnes in Orrville following graveside services at 11:30 a.m. Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel in Wooster is handling the arrangements. The family would especially like to thank LifeCare Hospice of Wooster for their support and services.
