Carolyn Lucille Matthews, 29, of Ashland, grew her purple angel wings and went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Hospice of North Central Ohio
Carolyn was born December 28, 1986 in Ashland to Roger L. and Betty L. {Eichelberger} Matthews.
She graduated from Dale-Roy Training Center in 2009 and attended D.R. Services.
Carolyn enjoyed listening to music, watching country westerns and the WWE. She most loved spending time with her family and her two dogs, Roxie and Pibb. Her family always enjoyed playing dress up with their porcelain baby doll.
Carolyn will be deeply missed by her parents of Ashland; sisters Melinda (Steve) Coffman, Michelle (Paul) Cyrus, Miranda (Josh) Calame and Debbie (Russ) Turner all of Ashland; uncles Eugene (Linda) Eichelberger of Wilmington and Warren (Louise) Eichelberger of Jessup, IA; aunts Sue Rishel of Ashland, Lois (Joe) Becker of Ashland, Cheryl Matthews of Glenn Ritchey, PA, Rose Matthews of Bruceton Mills, WV, Doris (Bill) Lord of Glenn Ritchey, PA, Marilyn (Roy) Wise of Shelby, and Susan Eichelberger of Sullivan; six nieces, five nephews, one great-niece and five great-nephews; and adopted family member Dottie Scott of Bailey Lakes.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Paul and Lucille Eichelberger and fraternal grandparents Clarence and Dorothy Matthews, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be Saturday at 12 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home—Ashland Chapel, Ashland with Rev. Robert Gault officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Dale-Roy Training Center at 1256 Center St., Ashland, OH 44805.
