Carolyn Wright

Carolyn F. Wright, 74, of Wooster, died Wednesday, February 21, 2018 in her home surrounded by her family.

Friends may call Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Westhill Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the church with Pastor Mark Davenport officiating. Carolyn was born August 15, 1943 in Gassaway, West Virginia to General and Mildred {Samples} Duffield.

She graduated from Norwayne High School in 1961. Carolyn then graduated from Wooster Business College.

She married James Reed on March 3, 1963. He died previously. She then married Richard Wright on March 23, 2004 he survives.

Carolyn retired from Westfield Insurance Company in 2004 after 17 years. She was a member of Westhill Baptist Church. Carolyn enjoyed boating, camping, gardening, card club and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.

Carolyn will be deeply missed by her husband; children James (Maria) Reed of Cypress, TX, Bill (Michele) Reed of West Salem; grandchildren Jessica, Seth, Cameron, Kaylee, CJ, Gabriela and Ethan Reed; brothers Robert, Keith (Diane) and Wayne (Robin) Duffield; sisters Joyce (Richard) Ammon, Connie Saffle.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents.
