Carrie Ellen Fuller

Carrie Ellen {Murphy} Fuller, 82, of Smithville, died December 30, 2024 at her home, in Smithville.

Carrie was born June 14, 1942 in Century, WV to Elmer and Wanita {Thompson} Murphy.

She married Archie Fuller on August 28, 1959. 

Carrie worked in the banking industry, working at Apple Creek Bank. She also worked at Sayre’s IGA. Carrie enjoyed gardening, traveling the hills of West Virginia with her husband in their Miata, watching grandsons grow up, and visiting the beaches, her favorite beaches were Ocracoke Island, NC, and Vieques, P.R.

Carrie will be deeply missed by her husband Archie; children Kimberly D. Fuller of Columbus and Ronald (Bethany) Fuller of Orrville; grandsons Abram (Madeline) Fuller, Solomon Fuller, and Joseph Fuller all of Orrville; brothers Wayne (Jeanne) Murphy of Palmyra, VA, William (Susan) Murphy of Simi Valley, CA, and Roger (Dorothy) Murphy of Powell.

Carrie was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call Monday January 6 from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/Carrie-Fuller) with Pastor Dana Keirstead officiating.
