Carson Earl Ripley, 77, of Wadsworth, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Cleveland Clinic Akron General.
Carson was born December 4, 1939 in Massillon to Glenn and Stella {Seckman} Ripley.
He married Glenda Hartman on December 4, 1960. She survives.
Carson worked in an iron foundry for 40 years, retiring from Babcock & Wilcox with 32 years of service. He was a member of the local 900 Boilmakers Union. Carson enjoyed traveling and has explored 48 states throughout his lifetime. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and enjoyed watching them play since 1946. In memory of Carson, the family requests the Browns win their next game for him!
Carson will be deeply missed by his wife of 56 years; daughter Viann and granddaughter Jessica.
Carson was preceded in death by his parents and brother Forrest Ripley.
Graveside services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Pastor H. Ray Aspinall officiating. Carson is resting now and waiting on Glenda to join him, he will be sadly missed.
