Charles D. Conley

Charles D. Conley, 81, of Wooster, died Sunday, July 10, 2022, at Autumnwood Care Center, in Rittman.

Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting the family. There will be no services. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Charles was born July 15, 1940, in Weston, WV to Frank and Martha {Grose} Conley.

Charles proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1961 to 1962.

He married Barbara Smith on April 1, 1967. She survives.  

Charles graduated from the National Radio and TV Institute. He then worked from Wards in Parkersburg WV. Charles then moved to Wooster in 1972 where he worked for Sears until he retired in 1998.  He attended the Mt Zion Church of God for 50 years, where he served as an usher. He enjoyed watching old movies.

Charles will be deeply missed by his wife; daughter Tricia (John) Wencel of Wooster; sister Sue Morris of NC.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, brother Thomas Stout.
