Charles "Chuck" Gibson, 71, of Wadsworth, died Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Magnolia Village Skilled Nursing and Rehab, in Wadsworth.
Chuck was born October 20, 1943 in Akron, Ohio to Charles R. and Anna {Sebring} Gibson.
He graduated from Kenmore High School.
Chuck retired from B.F. Goodrich as a supervisor. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on cars.
Chuck will be deeply missed by his children Charles O. (Jackie) Gibson of Ashland, KY, Cindy (Pete) Laikos of Wadsworth, Stephen (Kelly) Gibson of Seville, Michael Gibson of PA and Matthew Gibson of Rittman; grandchildren Courtney, Emiley, Abigail, Hannah, Alex, and Alyssa; great-grandchildren Luke and Scarlett; sister Marian (Charlie) Ward.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville with Pastor Charles G. Cooper officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 2 to 3 p.m. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Central Ohio Parkinson Society at 2800 Corporate Exchange Dr., Suite 265, Columbus, OH 43231 or a charity of your choice.
