Charles Holcomb

Charles Freeman Holcomb, 83, of Shreve, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home - Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Friends and family may call one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to LifeCare Hospice at 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.
Charles was born July 13, 1931 in West Virginia to Delbert Scott and Velva Jane {Cottrel} Holcomb.
He married Emogene {Ohse} in 1950. She passed on October 19, 2011. He married Madeline {Mikesell}.
Charles worked at Regal Wear as a maintenance technician before he retired. He attended the Lakeville Methodist Church. Charles enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on anything that had a motor.
Charles will be deeply missed by children Terry Dale Holcomb, Patricia Ann (Roger) Lance and Bobby Dean Holcomb; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Charles was preceded in death by his brothers Virgil Lee Holcomb, Leonard Holcomb and Winford Holcomb.
