Charles Hoskins

Charles L. Hoskins, 68, of Shelby, died Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Charles was born January 12, 1949 in Shelby to Vinson and Mary {Wright} Hoskins.
He married Terry Evans on July 6, 1968.
Charles worked for Plymouth Locomotive for 19 years. He was a member of Elm Street Freewill Baptist Church in Shelby. Charles enjoyed working on lawn mowers and spending time with his family.
Charles will be deeply missed by his wife of 49 years; children Gary Hoskins, Charles V. (Marianne) Hoskins and Jerry Hoskins; three grandsons and two granddaughters; one great-granddaughter; brother Vincent (Christine) Hoskins; sisters Virginia Burton, Frances (Edgar) Fletcher, Darlene Keller, Ruth (Norman) Burton and Lavonna Billotte.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents and sister Carol Sallee.
Services will be held at a later date. Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel, Ashland is assisting the family with arrangements. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven.
