Charles “Chuck” Blaine Williams III, 75, of Wooster, died Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Wooster Community Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Chuck was born February 28, 1943 in Greensburg, Indiana to Charles Blaine Jr. and Frances {Foster} Williams.
He was graduated from Greenhills High School and then from Otterbein College with a bachelor’s degree in education.
He married Mary “Dee” Hansen in Greenhills, Ohio.
Chuck retired from Edgewood Middle School after 34 years as a history and world geography teacher. Throughout that time and until now he also worked at Wooster Appliance Center. He enjoyed hiking and he completed the Appalachian Trail in July 2011. Chuck loved to dance and was a member of two dance demo teams, Free Spirit Cloggers and Summit Up Cloggers. He also enjoyed going to Disney World with his family.
Chuck will be deeply missed by his wife; children Jeniver (Ethan) Hamilton of Wooster, Charles Blaine (Sarah Hopper) Williams IV of Portland, OR; grandchildren Alexandra Hamilton of Seattle, WA, Jared Hamilton of Wooster; sister Martha (Adair) Andrew of Asheville, NC; brothers-in-law Eric (Elaine), Bob, and Dan Hansen.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents.
The family would like to thank all of the staff at Wooster Appliance Center, especially Lee Spencer and Mike Alexander, and the doctors and medical staff at the Cleveland Clinic.
