Christa Johnston

Christa Stefanie Johnston was born April 29, 1935, in Frankfurt, Germany to Stefan and Margrete Blum. She died Sabbath, December 18, 2021, in Cleburne Texas, her home for almost 10 years. A former Mt. Vernon resident, she is survived by her children: Carl [Ella] Johnston, of Keene TX., Christine Norman, of Florence OR., Constance [George] Maris, of Valencia CA.,  Richelle [Doug] Wright, of Harper's Ferry WV., Richard [Teri] Blum-Johnston, of Highland CA.; and her grandchildren: Alec Norman, Carla Blum-Johnston, Savanna & Andy Wright, Eric [Kaeton] Moore and great-grandchild: Eric Whitney Moore III [Tres].
Preceding her in death: her parents, sister Ursula, and husband Richard.
She leaves behind many nieces and nephews in Germany and good friends in Texas and across the country.

Private services will be held at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
