Cindi Barth Gerst

Cindi Irene Barth Gerst, 49, of Reno, went to be with the Lord and her parents, Charles and Florence Barth of Reno, on February 23, 2018.

She was born April 9, 1968 in Marietta, Ohio and was a 1986 graduate of Marietta High School. Cindi was a very giving person who would give anyone anything plus some. She had a smile that would brighten up the room and a sense of humor that brought laughter to everyone she knew. Her parents gave her unconditional love, support and a family she always wanted.

She is survived by her sisters, Tassy (Eric) Yates of Beverly and Paula Deem of Cleveland; brothers Charles Malacsics of Easton, PA and Joe (Belinda) Frances of Belpre. She was very close to her Aunt Doisha and Uncle Lou Baker of Belpre. Also, three nephews, Steven, Jayden and Kirk; and three nieces Lacee, Alyssa and Alayna. Her cousins also were very active in her life and she loved them very much. A special love that she held very close to her heart, even after divorce, Robert Gerst of Marietta.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 4 at 2 p.m. at Hills United Methodist Church, 55 Zion Ridge Rd., Marietta.
